WebPilot General Introduction
Webpilot is a free and open source "web assistant" that allows you to communicate freely with any web page or perform automated tasks. You don't need to switch pages or copy and paste, just select text or enter commands, and webpilot will provide you with real-time information and intelligent editing. Not only does it provide fast AI search and high-quality writing tools, it also supports APIs, GPTs extensions and browser plug-ins to help users create content and process web information more easily. Whether it's extracting specific information, translating web content, or generating detailed reports, WebPilot provides a convenient solution.

Installation process
- Download plug-ins: Visit the official WebPilot website (https://www.webpilot.ai/) to download a version of the plug-in for your browser.
- Installation of plug-ins: Follow the browser prompts to complete the plug-in installation.
- Register for an account: The first time you use it, you need to register for a WebPilot account, fill in the necessary information to complete the registration.
Usage
Quick AI Search
- Open the plug-in: Click on the WebPilot icon in your browser toolbar.
- Enter a query: Type your question or keyword in the search box.
- Get Answers: WebPilot will provide instant answers based on real-time data.
Step 1: Press Ctrl+` (the ~ key before the number 1)
Step 2: Confirm the action (e.g. ask him to "summarize this page")
Step three... There's no step three. It's done!
High-quality writing tools
- Choosing a Writing Tool: Select "Writing Tools" in the Plug-ins menu.
- Enter a theme: Enter the topic or keyword for which you need to generate the report.
- Generating reports: Click "Generate" and WebPilot will automatically generate a detailed report.
API Support
- Getting the API key: Log in to the WebPilot website and get the API key in the "Developer Center".
- Integrated API: Integrate the API into your application according to the documentation.

GPTs Extension
- Enabling the GPTs extension: Enable the GPTs extension in the plugin settings.

usage example
