General Introduction

Seconda is an innovative no-code development tool launched by Baidu Intelligent Cloud, designed to help users quickly build applications through natural language without the need to master complex programming skills. Relying on Baidu's powerful AI technology and big model support, the platform is able to transform users' creative ideas into practically usable software prototypes for individual developers, enterprise users, and educational scenarios. Seconda simplifies the traditional development process through multi-agent collaboration and intelligent tool invocation, so that users with non-technical backgrounds can also easily achieve business automation, process optimization or creative landing. The platform is currently in the internal testing phase, and users can access and experience its features through the Baidu Intelligent Cloud console, which opens on February 27, 2025 for internal testing.

Using Help

Seconda is currently integrated into the Baidu Intelligent Cloud console, and users need to access and experience its features through this portal. As the platform is still in the internal testing phase, the registration and application process needs to be completed before official use. Below is a detailed guide to help users quickly get started and take full advantage of Miaoda's core features.

Access and Registration Process

  1. Open Baidu Smart Cloud Console: Type in your browserhttps://console.bce.baidu.com, go to the official website.
  2. Log in to your account: Click the "Login" button in the upper right corner and use your Baidu account or cell phone number to login. If you don't have an account, you can choose "Register" and fill in the information as prompted to complete the registration.
  3. Access to the Miaoda Design Platform:: After logging in, find "Miaoda" or "AI Quick Build" in the navigation bar of the console homepage and click to enter the design platform page. If you don't find it, you can type "Miaoda" in the search bar to locate it.
  4. Apply for beta access: As this is currently an internal test phase, users need to click on the "Apply for Experience" button, fill in basic information (such as name, e-mail address, usage scenarios, etc.), submit and wait for review and approval. The review is usually completed within 1-3 working days, and you will receive an email notification after approval.
  5. start using: After approval, log back into the console and start creating the application in the Miaoda Design module.

Main function operation flow

1. Creating applications using natural language programming

  • Step 1: Enter the design interface: Click "New Project" on the Miaoda homepage, enter a project name (e.g. "Task Management Tool") and confirm.
  • Step 2: Enter a Description of Requirements:: Enter a specific application requirement in the text box, such as "Create a tool that can add tasks, set deadlines, and remind users". Try to describe the functionality as clearly as possible and use natural language.
  • Step 3: Generate Code:: By clicking the "Generate" button, Miaoda's AI agent will analyze the requirements and automatically generate the code. The generation process usually takes 10-30 seconds, and when it is done, the initial framework of the application is displayed.
  • Step 4: Inspection and Adjustment:: Review the generated interface and functionality, and if you need to make adjustments, you can add descriptions (e.g., "Add task prioritization options") directly in the text box, and click "Re-generate" to update the application.

2. Multi-agent collaborative optimization applications

  • Step 1: Enable Collaboration Mode: Click the "Agent Collaboration" switch in the upper-right corner of the design interface, and the system will automatically assign multiple AI agents (including requirement analysis agents, coding agents, and testing agents).
  • Step 2: Viewing the Collaboration Process: Agents will divide up the tasks, and users can view the progress of each agent's work in real-time in the Collaboration Log, e.g., "Requirements analysis is complete, generating code".
  • Step 3: Feedback Optimization: If the generated code does not meet the expectations, you can click the "Feedback" button, enter a specific problem (e.g., "the interface is too simple"), and the agent will re-optimize based on the feedback.
  • Step 4: Confirmation of results: After optimization is complete, preview the application and save it to ensure that the functionality meets the requirements.

3. Invoking smart tools to enrich functionality

  • Step 1: Add Tools: Select the required external tools, such as "Baidu Search" or "Map API" in the "Toolbar" of the design interface.
  • Step 2: Configuration Tool: Click the tool icon and follow the prompts to enter parameters. For example, to add map function, input "Show user's current location" and bind it to the application interface.
  • Step 3: Testing Tools:: Click the "Preview" button to check if the tool is working properly. If the map is not displayed, go back and adjust the parameters or change the tool.
  • Step 4: Save Integration: Click "Save" after confirming that there are no errors, and the tool will be formally embedded in the application.

4. Modular design and real-time editing

  • Step 1: Drag and Drop Module: In the Module Library on the left side of the design interface, select the desired functional module (e.g. "Form", "Button", "List") and drag and drop it onto the canvas.
  • Step 2: Adjust the layout: Use the mouse to resize and reposition the module, and click on the module to edit its properties (e.g. button text, color).
  • Step 3: Live Preview: After editing, click the "Preview" button in the upper right corner to check how the app will appear on your phone or computer.
  • Step 4: Export the application: When you are satisfied, click the "Export" button, select the export format (e.g. web application or APK file) and download it to local.

caveat

  • network requirement: Using Miaoda requires a stable Internet connection to avoid interruptions in the generation process.
  • Language Support: Currently, it mainly supports Simplified Chinese input, and it is recommended to use concise and clear descriptive statements.
  • Preservation of habits: Save the project in a timely manner after each edit to prevent accidental loss.
  • Internal Test Restrictions: Some advanced features may be limited during the beta period, and more options will be opened when the official version goes live.

With these steps, users can easily build projects ranging from simple tools to complex applications. For example, type in "Create a tool that records daily expenses and generates statistical charts", and Miaoda quickly generates an application that includes input forms and graphical displays.
