What is Hunyuan3D-Part

Hunyuan3D-Part (Hybrid 3D-Part) is a 3D generation model released and open-sourced by Tencent. Composed of P3-SAM and X-Part, it realizes the first high-precision and controllable component-based 3D generation, supporting 50+ components to be generated automatically. Users can first generate the overall mesh with Hybrid 3D 2.5 or 3.0, and then P3 - SAM will automatically and accurately segment the components, and X - Part will decompose them into independent parts, outputting high-fidelity, structurally consistent component geometries, while maintaining flexibility and controllability. The models generated by Hybrid 3D - Part are highly accurate, editable and structurally sound, making them easier to edit, produce and apply. It has a wide range of applications in game modeling and 3D printing, such as splitting car models into body and wheels for easy game-bound scrolling logic or 3D printing step-by-step production. The code and weights are open source and can be used for free through the c creation engine.
