What's Lynx?

Lynx is a high-fidelity personalized video generation model open-sourced by ByteDance that generates identity-consistent videos with only a single portrait photo. Based on diffusion Transformer（Lynx uses a face encoder to capture facial features, X-Nemo technology to enhance expressions, and LBM algorithms to simulate lighting and shadow effects to ensure consistency of character identity across different scenes. Its cross-attention adapter combines textual cues with facial features to produce scene-compatible video, and Lynx has a "time-awareness" that understands the physical laws of motion and maintains temporal consistency in the video. In large-scale tests, Lynx outperforms similar technologies on multiple dimensions, including facial similarity, scene matching, and video quality.
