inpaint-web General Introduction
inpaint-web is a free and open source image restoration and enlargement tool that utilizes WebGPU and WebAssembly technologies to run in the browser without downloading a client, right out of the box. inpaint-web supports a variety of modeling, post-processing, and segmentation methods that allow for localized removal of images, high-definition restoration, image replacement, and more. inpaint-web has an online demo and can also be found in the GitHub Check out the source code and updates on. inpaint-web is authored by lxfater, a developer interested in GPU programming, browser-side model optimization and deployment.
inpaint-web Feature List
- Picture Partial Removal: You can remove unwanted objects from your photos, such as watermarks, dates, people, etc.
- Picture HD: You can turn blurry pictures into high-resolution clear pictures, such as zooming in on avatars, details, text, etc.
- Image Replacement: You can replace a part of a picture with another picture, such as change background, change clothes, change expression, etc.

- Visit the online demo address, select the feature you want to use, upload an image, or use a sample image.
- Follow the prompts and use your mouse or touch screen to select the area of the image you want to repair or replace, or use the split tool to make a quick selection.
- Click the Start button, wait for the model to process, view the results, you can adjust the parameters or post-processing effects, or reselect the region.
- Click the Save button to download the processed image or share it on social media.
