General Introduction

Extract.fun is a modern web application that utilizes Cloudflare browser rendering capabilities to extract images from any website. Built on Remix and deployed on Cloudflare Pages, the application provides fast, efficient and secure image extraction.

Very valuable open source project, CloudFlare's Browser Rendering is after running a Chrome Headless, you can access a specific URL, like you natively open a web page with a browser, you can use the API to get the content of the web page, screenshots and so on.
With CloudFlare's Browser Rendering, it is possible to derive interesting application scenarios, such as obtaining a screenshot of a web page based on the URL, generating a Markdown of the web page content based on the URL, extracting all the images in the web page, and so on.

Using Help

Installation process

1. Make sure Node.js is installed (the latest LTS version is recommended).
2. Install the pnpm package manager.
3. Register and log in to your Cloudflare account.
4. Install the Wrangler CLI tool.

Usage Process

1. Cloning Warehouse:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/extract
   cd extract
   

2. Install the dependencies:

   pnpm install
   

3. Copy the Wrangler configuration example file:

   cp wrangler.example.toml wrangler.toml
   

4. Start the development server:

   pnpm dev
   

5. Deploy to Cloudflare Pages:

   pnpm run deploy
   

Functional operation flow

1. Visit Extract.fun.
2. Enter the URL of the image you want to extract in the input box.
3. Click the "Extract" button, wait for a few seconds, the system will automatically extract images from the target website and display the results.
4. Users can choose to download the extracted images or process them further.
