Using Heeyo

Getting Started

• Register for an account: The first time you open Heeyo, you need to create an account. Choose a username, enter your parent's email (for receiving important notifications and account security), and set a password.
• Selecting or designing AI friends: Kids can choose from existing AI friends or design their own. The design allows for gender, appearance, clothing, etc. to ensure that each AI friend is unique.

Main Functions

• Chat function::
  • Tap the chat icon at the bottom of the screen, type in a question or topic, and an AI friend will respond based on your child's age and interests.
  • Conversations can be on different topics, such as science, math, or daily life problems, and the AI will guide the child into relevant learning games or stories.
• Reading and Story Time::
  • Go to the "Reading" module and select a book.
  • An AI friend can read the story aloud or have the child read it to him/herself while providing vocabulary explanations or asking questions to enhance comprehension.
• Game Learning::
  • Click on the "Games" icon to browse or search for games on a specific topic.
  • After selecting a game, the child is taken to an interactive interface where he or she can learn through play. For example, through a math game, a child can learn new concepts while solving problems.
