Using Help
SlideHero is very easy to use, no complicated installation is required, and you can operate it directly on the web page to complete the courseware creation. Below is the detailed step-by-step guide and function operation guide:
Access and Registration
- Click the "Try SlideHero Now" button on the homepage to enter the main screen.
- If this is your first time using it, it is recommended to register for an account. Click on the Login or Register option in the upper right corner and enter your email and password to complete your registration. After registering you can save the courseware for future modifications.
Creating Slideshows
- After logging in, click the "Generate Content" button at the top of the interface.
- In the "Topic" input box, enter the topic you want to talk about, such as "The Amazon Rainforest" or "Quadratic Equations".
- Select the student's grade level in the "Student" drop-down menu, such as "Year 5" or "Grade 8".
- Click "Generate", wait for a few seconds and the system will automatically generate a set of slides. The generated slides include title, body, pictures and interactive activities.
Edit Slideshow
- Adjustment of text : The text on each slide can be clicked and selected to modify the content directly. If the text is too long, click "Auto Size Text" in the lower right corner of the text box and the system will adjust the font size automatically.
- Replacement of pictures : The images on each slide can be replaced. Click on "My Images" in the upper left corner of the image to upload a local image, or click on "Swap" to use a new image from Google Image Search.
- Add Video : Want to make the content more vivid? Click "Add Video URL" to paste the YouTube video link and the video will be embedded directly into the slideshow.
- Restructuring of the layout : Click on the three dots next to a text box or picture to copy, cut, or change their front-to-back order.
Add interactive activities

Preview and share
- Once editing is complete, click the Preview button in the upper right corner to check the slide content and order.
- Click on the Share icon and the system will generate an EdSlides link and code. Send the link to your students so they can view the lesson online. The code can be saved to open your lesson at any time on the EdSlides platform.

- If the slide title is not centered, check the title text box and manually adjust it to the center.
